Founded in 2017 the inspiration for this sustainable fashion brand for men and women came from Lisa & Blue, a South London couple, exhausted by the fast pace of London living. An initial two-day visit to Rishikesh, Himalaya’s, India, turned into a complete lifestyle change, deciding to opt for a simpler, more spiritual life, closer to nature. Lisa and Blue now live and work with local people, in the beautiful foothills of the Himalayas for 4-6 months of the year and are involved in every aspect of the design and making process.

As a discerning customer, when buying natural products from Cotton Conscious, you are supporting small family-owned artisan businesses and directly helping underprivileged communities in India.

We strongly believe that in this age of mass production, handmade is a new luxury.
